Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry's standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.

Jaya Kalra is not a new artist. Despite the fact that she has had no formal schooling in the art of painting yet her brush speaks volumes about her special gift and expertise in voicing the north east region to the rest of the world. Jaya also goes beyond nature through her symbolic paintings.

In other word she is not so carried away by the Mysticism of nature as to forget the rough and tumble of social life. Hers is an art that communicates that informs, that challenges and even provokes one and all from every community and walk of life.

Jaya Kalra is not a new age artist. Her works of art have also been displayed at the Galerie des Arches, 22 rue des Quatre fils, Paris. She is married to Rajiv Kalra, an Electrical engineer and businessman by profession, who has been her pillar of strength and inspiration in her endeavour to make her art and healing reach out to the masses. She is a dedicated mother to her children and enjoys balancing her domestic duties with her career. She loves her family a lot and loves to spend time with family.

Her son Aneesh also an engineer in Electronic and Communication. After working in TCS for three years joined family business. An inspiring and dedicated towards his profession, duties and with full of love for his family.

Her Daughter Rachita full of life, energetic and enthusiast was a Psychiatrist and a noble sole always extended her hands to people in need of Mental and Physical help. She realized she has to look after her family and 90 years old mother suffering with Dementia gave her strength and she started applying all healing techniques on herself and family which she was using to heal others. Due to her own healing she could help herself and her family to deal with pain and agony. She decided to fulfil her daughters dream of opening a wellness centre in Shillong.
